Walter Lee Justice

Candler - Walter Lee Justice, 76, of 16 Gudger Rd. died Wednesday August 28, 2002 at his home after a period of declining health. A native of Henderson County, he had lived most of his life in Buncombe County. He retired from Beacon Mfg. and had also done yard work. He was a son of the late Claude and Maude West Justice and was also preceded in death by brothers, Carol and Willard Justice. Surviving are his step-mother, Mary Justice of Barnardsville; long time companion, Viola Hooker of the home; daughters, Sue Justice Campbell of Candler and Barbara Sluder of Fletcher; sisters, Sue Haynes of S.C. and Shelby Anders of Barnardsville; brothers, Ralph Justice and Claude Junior Justice both of Asheville and 6 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Reep officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
