Wayne Robert Clark

Wayne Robert Clark, 60, of Candler, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at his residence surrounded by family. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Charlie Rankin and Helen Sluder Clark. Surviving are his wife, Emma Lou Queen Clark; daughters: Brenda Whitmire, Lora Proffit, and Brandy Brown; brothers: Earl Clark, and Jerry Clark; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Private memorial services were held at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Cancer Care of WNC, PO Box 695, Asheville, NC 28802.
