Wendell Mcintosh

Asheville Wendell Wallace McIntosh, 68, of 22 Craven Street passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at his home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He retired in 2000 as a Security Guard for Memorial Mission Hospital following 14 years of service. Mr. McIntosh was a son of the late Harley McDevitt and Fushia McIntosh Davis. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Barbara Jean Lail McIntosh of the home; sons, Robert McIntosh and Bruce McIntosh and wife Tonya all of Asheville; grandchildren, Kendra and Tyler both of Asheville; sister, Patricia A. Lail and husband Danny of Weaverville; brothers, Leon Davis of Weaverville and Larry Davis and wife Barbara of Mars Hill; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Gaddis officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to: CarePartners, P.O.
