William Paul Boone Jr.

Asheville - William Paul Boone, Jr., 64, of 164 Brucemont Circle, died Thursday June 28, 2007 at the Blue Ridge Healthcare Center after an extended illness. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a son of the late William Paul Boone, Sr. and Freda Boone Cooper. Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Boone of the home; son, Jeff Boone and wife Lavonne of Asheville; daughter, Julia Boone of Arden; brothers, Daniel Richard Boone of Arden and James Cooper of Swannanoa; sisters, Shirley Jean Boone of Maryland, Patricia Ann Boone of Asheville and Kay OShields of Arden and granddaughter, Stacy Finch of Asheville. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Roberts Memorial Park with the Rev. Don Welborn officiating.
