William S. "Bill" Rickman

CANDLER William Spears Bill Rickman, 45, of 16 Bradshaw Circle went to be with his Lord & Savior Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. He was a native and resident most of his life of Buncombe County. He worked at Mortgage South Financial Services, was a 1982 graduate of Asheville High School, a 1986 graduate of Appalachian State University where he received his BS in Economics & Political Science with honors and was a member of Pole Creek Baptist Church. William was a son of Donald P. Rickman and Sandra C. Rickman. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Belinda Bess Huey Rickman; step daughters, Melissa Sanborn & husband Josh and Samantha Smith; sister, Deborah R. Haynes & husband Craig; brother, James A. Andy Rickman; nephews, Christopher Haynes & Matthew Haynes; nieces, Amber L. Rickman & Brooke A. Rickman. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with his brother, Mr. Andy Rickman and Rev. Dennis Thurman officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. prior to services Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to ones favorite charity.
