Willis Lee Brewer

Asheville - Willis Lee Brewer, 63, of 42 Barn Owl Rd. died Friday, January 18, 2002 at the VA Medical Center, Asheville. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the 4th Infantry. Mr. Brewer was a son of the late Justin Arnold and Maybelle Wells Brewer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Buckner. Surviving are his son, Tony Lee Brewer of Lexington; daughter, Teresa Brewer Mays of Lexington; sister, Jeraldine Holt of Asheville; grandchildren, Rusti Broadway, Dylan Mays, Whitney Mays, and Hannah Brewer. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shirley Langford officiating. Burial will be in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
