Wilma Israel

Asheville - Wilma Jane Parham Israel, 75, of 200 Tunnel Road Apt. 311 died Wednesday March 22, 2006 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center after a brief illness. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she attended Bethel Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Lester and Claudine Hoover Parham and the wife of the late Wilburn Grace Israel. Surviving are her sister, Joan Birmingham and husband Charles of Seymour, TN; nephew, Larry Smith and wife Karen of Asheville; nieces, Cindi Waldrop of Hendersonville and Traci Kelley and husband Sean of Seymour, TN and 4 great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Frady officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery.
